Before you start, I recommend you do the check-up work to ensure your teleportation will go off without a hitch. Check if you have done the following:
Unlock your MetaMask wallet.
Choose a network from which you want to teleport your NFT. To switch to Ethereum in your MetaMask wallet: My Accounts > Settings > Networks > Ethereum Mainnet.
Ensure you have enough funds in your wallet to make a transfer, including the ones needed for the transaction fee.
So, let's assume that you already have an NFT on the Ethereum network, and now you want to beam it to the Binance Smart Chain.
To achieve this, do the following:
Go to https://app.scottybeam.io.
On the web page, click the Connect Wallet button.
3. In the Connect Wallet dialog screen, (1) select the network where you want to teleport your NFT and then (2) select WalletConnect or MetaMask.
Note. In this guide, we’ll use the step-by-step instructions for MetaMask. If you choose to connect your wallet via the WalletConnect technology, you can use any WalletConnect-compatible wallets.
IMPORTANT. The network of your wallet and the ScottyBeam app must match for Scotty to proceed with teleportation.
Once you connect your wallet, Scotty will report the successful connection of the wallet to Teleport.
Now you’re all set and ready to transfer your NFT:
To finish the teleportation, you need to approve the transaction by claiming your NFT:

Click the Go to NFTs button. Scotty will open up the Gallery of your NFTs:
In the Gallery, click and select an NFT you want to teleport and, in the dialog window, click the Go to Teleport button. Scotty will place your NFT to Teleport.
In Teleport, select the destination network, and then click the Beam It Up! button. Note. Currently, you can select between the Binance Smart Chain and Polygon chains. Before proceeding with the NFT teleporting, you need to (a) grant Scotty a permission to move your NFT in Teleport and (b) approve the transaction in blockchain.
To grant the permission, in the "Transaction Confirmations" pop-up window, click the Continue button. MetaMask will open.
In the MetaMask window, click Confirm for MetaMask to complete the transaction. Tip. To speed up the transaction processing, in MetaMask click Edit > Show Recommendations > High > Save. Transaction processing takes time. DO NOT close the app tab in your browser and wait for the transaction to be completed.
To approve the transaction, in the "Confirm teleportation?" pop-up window, click the I Confirm, Scotty! button. MetaMask will open.
In the MetaMask window, click Confirm for MetaMask to complete the transaction. Tip. To speed up the transaction processing, in MetaMask click Edit > Show Recommendations > High > Save. Transactions take time. DO NOT close the app tab in your browser and wait for the transaction to be completed.
After the transaction is completed, in the "Almost ready!" pop-up window, click the Go to NFTs button.
In your MetaMask wallet, switch the network to Binance Smart Chain. Tip. To switch networks in MetaMask, go to the Account > Settings > Binance Smart Chain.
In the Connect Wallet, make sure Binance Smart Chain is selected, and click MetaMask.
Once Scotty reports about the successful wallet connection, click the Go to NFTs button.
Click the Claim NFT tokens button. Note. If you see the Wallet reconnection required pop-window with Scotty notifying you to change the network, click the Reconnect Wallet button.
In Teleport, click the Claim NFT button. IMPORTANT. Every time you make an NFT transfer, you have to claim it by clicking the Claim NFT button. Until then, a transaction is considered uncompleted.
To approve the transaction, in the "Claim NFT" pop-up window, click the I Confirm, Scotty! button. MetaMask will open.
In the MetaMask window, click Confirm for MetaMask to complete the transaction. Transactions take time. Do not close the app tab in your browser and wait for the transaction to be completed.
In the "We did it, сommander!" pop-up window, click the Go to NFTs button.
Your NFT will appear in the Gallery on the Binance Smart Chain network. Congratulations! You have successfully teleported your NFT from Ethereum to Binance Smart Chain using the ScottyBeam app, the world’s first cross-chain teleport.
